Any time soon the Bank of England are expected to announce that they need to revise figures for the initial growth in the UK economy they issued in May this year. The original figures were stating a 1.5% increase should be obtainable this year and a 3.4% increase during 2011.
Unemployed graduate numbers are expected to rise to record levels in the next few years with graduates facing warnings that students will be facing competition for jobs to a level previously unheard of. The most recent report by the Higher Education Careers Service Unit was made public just hours after the story broke regarding the fact that up to 270 graduates were in some instances competing for the same vacancy.
